Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and television host. She is most well-known for her character as hostess in Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and environmentalist associated with secular humanism and environmental issues. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times best-selling writer, actress and critic in her autobiography, Wherever You Go Wherever You Go: I See you Made an effort. Then you say Tomato. I say Shutup, and I Fired. It was also featured in an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is most well-known for her time as host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. She has also appeared in shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. Her regular TV appearances are on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher as well as NPR. She also has written op eds, which can be found in New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satires for The New Yorker & McSweeneys. The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times have ranked her among their top Ten performances of the year in her performance on stage.
