Leighton Meester is an American performer, actress, singer and musician. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama "Gossip Girl." She started her acting career as a kid. It was part of the local stage production of "Wizard of Oz" throughout her youth. It sparked her passion in performing. Modeling and commercials were among her first step. Through her modeling projects, she has worked for major brands including 'Herbal Essentials' 'Vera Wang and Jimmy Choo and 'Ralph Lauren.' Though she began her career as model, she eventually ventured into acting as well. She made her acting debut with the series 'Law & Order'. Later, she took part in cameos on television films and series such as "Country Strong," "Monte Carlo', and 'Killer Movie. As well as acting, she's also composed songs and recorded music for a number of renowned singers, such as the 'Cobra Ship' and vocalist Robin Thicke.
